Historical Atlas of Gerrards Cross

A Historical Atlas of Gerrards Cross has been compiled by David Thorpe to document the research of the GX2006 project. This contains detailed maps and analysis of the development and people of Gerrards Cross. This is a valuable basis of information to help in your research.

We shall shortly be able to give you some information about where to buy your copy of the Atlas.

Some parts of the Atlas have been converted into a searchable format (in twelve separate sections). In order to use them , you will need to download the PDF files to your computer. The size in kilobytes is shown for each file.

In order to read them, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded free from the Adobe website if you have not already got this program on your computer. Once downloaded on to your computer, use the search facility within Acrobat Reader to find the person, house or road name that you are seeking. If all the directories are placed into a single folder, you will be able to search all of them simultaneously.
